Here at Kingwood Kennels, we are family owned and all canine and feline pets are cared for in a safe, loving environment. We board only healthy, flea-free pets with current vaccinations in order to protect the health and comfort of each of our guests.
New and existing clients are welcome to tour our facilities.
Indoor/Outdoor Runs
Each kennel has an indoor area that is climate controlled and a dual direction doggie door that allows the occupant easy access to their own individual outdoor run.
For owners with more than 1 dog, the multiple dog discount applies only if all dogs stay in the same run.
Our boarding rates for Indoor / Outdoor Runs include 2 playtimes daily. Additional playtimes over the included number are charged at $5 per session. AABY Dog Park playtime is also available at $10 for a 20 minute session.
Playtime is held in one of our two exercise yards where the dogs can play and socialize with other dogs. We assess each dog's temperament and activity levels and place dogs with similar natures together during playtime. We strongly encourage your pets to participate in our group based playtime although, where requested, individual playtime is also available.

Executive Suites
All executive suites have a window and “easy out” doggie door to an outside backyard. The indoor area is climate controlled, with a comfortable raised hammock style or wooden bed, earthenwear water and food bowls, toys, padded play mat and TV/DVD playing your pet's favorite movies! The backyard includes a grassed area, raised decking and wading pool for the summer months.
We have 3 executive suites available and they all have a different theme:

Pets staying in one of our Executive Suites receive 3 playtimes daily, a digestible chew and treats.
top Cat Condos
Our feline guests stay in an individual condo and come out to play in our indoor cat room twice a day. Our cat play room offers climbing furniture, a play/scratch mat, toys, and a large window with wide ledge for viewing birds and squirrels.
We do not offer discounts for boarding more than 1 cat, as we only allow 1 cat per condo.

Daycare
"Home Alone" is nearly as risky as for your pets as it would be for your child. Bring them for daycare and they will enjoy playtime and a midday treat while they are with us for the day.
Our daycare rates include 2 playtimes (indoor for cats) and a midday treat.
top How Am I Charged?
We charge similar to a hotel...
You are charged for the day you drop your pet off, regardless of the time of day your pet is dropped off. This is because we reserve the kennel/suite/cat condo for the entire day for your pet. You are not charged for the day of departure if you pick your pet up before 11am or if you have requested a bathing/grooming service. This applies for Monday through Saturday departures.
On Sunday, we offer a pickup between 4 and 5 pm. You will be charged our daycare rate for this day whether or not bathing or grooming services are requested.

top Holiday Deposits
Any booking that falls into the peak or holiday periods below will be subject to a holiday deposit, which will then be deducted from your final bill. Please note that our holiday deposits are strictly NON REFUNDABLE - no exceptions. Your booking is confirmed only once we have received your deposit.

top Vaccinations Required
For the health of all animals staying at our facility, we require that all animals be current on the required vaccinations and that we receive proof of this in the form of a vaccination record completed by their veterinarian or receipts from the veterinarian. We will accept faxed records from the veterinary office. It is the responsibility of the client to obtain and provide proof of vaccinations.

If requested , we are able to administer the Bordetella vaccination (intra-nasal) on your pet's arrival at Kingwood Kennels. There is a charge associated with this service.
Any medications your pet requires should be provided in their original packaging, with instructions intact. We will administer oral medications for your pet at no extra charge.
